This role involves representing institutional and private lenders in complex financing transactions secured by commercial real estate and related assets. The candidate should be capable of independently managing transactions from inception to closing across real estate and secured lending matters.

Duties

• Independently manage, structure, document, and negotiate complex real estate lending transactions from inception through closing.
• Represent banks, institutional and private lenders, and other financial institutions in various secured financing transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate loan agreements and related financing documents.
• Conduct and manage transaction due diligence, including review of collateral-related materials.
• Advise clients on deal structure, risk allocation, and financing terms.
• Coordinate closings and manage communications with all parties involved.
• Collaborate with attorneys on complex transactions.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development.
• Supervise and train junior attorneys within the practice area.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• License to practice law in good standing in Florida.
• 7+ years of experience in commercial real estate finance or related fields.
• Extensive experience representing lenders in complex financing transactions.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage and close transactions.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

Certifications
