A law firm seeks a tax associate with 2-5 years of law firm experience to join its Tax and Estate Planning practice group in Salt Lake City, UT. The ideal candidate will have expertise in areas such as non-profits, corporate and partnership taxation, state and local taxation, or international tax.

Duties

• Provide legal counsel in tax and estate planning matters.
• Collaborate with clients to develop tax strategies.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
• Represent clients in tax-related disputes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-5 years of law firm experience.
• Member of the Utah Bar or willing to take the Utah Bar.
• Member of the Bar of another U.S. state if not currently in Utah.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Commitment to ethics and professionalism.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
• LL.M. in Taxation preferred.

Certifications

• Bar membership in Utah or another U.S. state.
