The Associate will also assist in other practice areas, including Product Liability and Trucking. Location:

• Jacksonville, FL

Duties:

• Defend Architect’s & Engineer’s Liability and Construction Defect cases.
• Provide assistance in Product Liability and Trucking practice areas.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in depositions, hearings, and court proceedings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to ensure effective defense strategies.
• Assist with case preparation, including discovery and trial support.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on Architect’s & Engineer’s Liability and Construction Defect preferred.
• Proven experience in defending clients in construction-related legal matters.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Professional and confident in representing clients in various legal proceedings.
• Desire to grow within the firm and take on increasing responsibilities.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Florida State Bar (or eligibility to obtain admission).

Skills:

• Strong litigation and trial skills.
• Expertise in Architect’s & Engineer’s Liability and Construction Defect law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with legal research and drafting legal documents.
