Job Title: Associate Attorney

Duties:

• Review and analyze medical records to support client cases
• Draft motions and represent clients during hearings
• Prepare clients for depositions and attend as needed
• Draft detailed reports, including initial, interim, and pre-trial reports
• Manage discovery processes, including drafting and responding to discovery-related motions
• Attend court regularly to advocate for clients
• Take and defend depositions of fact and expert witnesses

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in the State of Florida
• 3-10 years of experience in General Liability Defense
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex legal matters
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to draft and respond to discovery-related motions
• Experience taking and defending depositions
• Confidence in attending court appearances and presenting arguments

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• An active member of the Florida Bar

Certifications:

• Admitted to practice in the State of Florida

Skills:

• Excellent client communication and advocacy abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
