Job Overview
A law firm is seeking a Mid-Senior Labor and Employment Associate Attorney for their Dallas, TX office. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of substantive experience in employment-related and/or class action litigation and must possess a strong background in defending employment discrimination claims, EEOC/DOL matters, and wage and hour claims, including class action lawsuits. The candidate should also have experience in advising employers on federal and state employment law compliance, drafting workplace policies, and managing employment issues. Superior academic credentials, along with excellent research and writing skills, are essential for this role. GA Bar admission is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Defend clients in employment discrimination claims, EEOC/DOL investigations, wage and hour disputes, and class action lawsuits.
  • Provide comprehensive legal counsel to employers on federal and state employment law compliance.
  • Draft and review workplace policies, employee handbooks, and other employment-related documents.
  • Assist clients with employment-related matters, including workplace investigations, employee relations, and terminations.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare in-depth legal analysis and opinions on complex employment law issues.
  • Represent clients in administrative proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial work.
  • Develop litigation strategies to handle employment disputes efficiently.
  • Stay updated on new developments in employment law to ensure clients receive timely and accurate legal advice.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • 4-6 years of substantive experience in employment-related litigation and class action lawsuits.
  • Experience defending employment discrimination, EEOC/DOL claims, and wage and hour disputes.
  • Proven ability to counsel employers on compliance with federal and state employment laws.
  • Superior academic credentials and excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex legal matters.
  • Admission to the Bar in Georgia (GA Bar admission required).
  • Desire for trial work and litigation experience.
