Duties

• Manage day-to-day legal tasks and overall litigation strategy

• Handle employment law cases from inception through discovery and trial preparation

• Draft and argue motions, respond to discovery, and prepare client correspondence and reports

• Attend and participate in depositions, settlement conferences, and hearings

• Assist in trial preparation, including records review, client interviews, and witness preparation

• Advise employer clients on compliance and employment law policies

• Draft employment agreements, separation agreements, and other related documents

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in labor and employment law, including litigation

• Proven experience drafting legal documents and advising clients on employment-related matters

• Experience with administrative hearings and court appearances

• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Strong commitment to client service and collaborative team dynamics

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the state of Missouri (required)

Skills

• Superior oral and written communication skills

• Strong legal research and analytical capabilities

• Experience taking and defending depositions (preferred)
