Job Overview:
A reputable law firm is seeking an experienced Securities Attorney to join their Investment Funds Group. This professional track (non-partnership track) position requires a seasoned attorney with at least 6 years of experience in managing structured securities offerings and a strong background in commercial real estate law. The ideal candidate will have expertise in real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions, representing various public and private real estate companies, REITs, and institutional investors. This opportunity allows candidates to work from multiple U.S. office locations, offering flexibility and the potential for career growth.

Location:

• Miami, FL

Duties:

• Manage and oversee structured securities offerings in commercial real estate transactions.
• Provide legal counsel on real estate finance, acquisitions, dispositions, and restructurings.
• Represent clients in transactions involving acquisitions, financings, and commercial real estate development.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to complex transactions.
• Conduct legal research and provide innovative solutions to complex issues.
• Collaborate effectively with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements throughout all stages of transactions.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience managing structured securities offerings.
• Strong experience in commercial real estate law, particularly in real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions.
• AmLaw 100 law firm experience preferred.
• Ability to manage complex transactions and provide strategic legal counsel.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with colleagues across teams.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction where the position is located.
