A law firm seeks an associate litigation attorney with a California Bar License to join its Consumer Financial Litigation practice group in Plano, TX. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 10 years of experience in relevant legal areas and a strong commitment to client service.

Duties

• Prepare legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, and motions.
• Conduct legal research and attend hearings.
• Analyze legal conflicts and advise clients on solutions.
• Communicate with senior associates, paralegals, and clients.
• Maintain organized client files.

Requirements

• 3-10 years of experience in consumer financial litigation.
• Knowledge of FDCPA, FCRA, and TCPA.
• Experience with debt collection practices in federal and Texas courts.
• Licensed in California; additional licenses are a plus.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• California Bar License.
