A well-established litigation firm based in Wausau, Wisconsin is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join its dynamic team. This position is open to attorneys at all experience levels, from recent graduates to seasoned litigators. The successful candidate will work within a collaborative legal environment handling a variety of civil litigation matters and contributing to the firm’s continued success.

Location

Duties

• Represent clients in civil litigation matters, including motion practice, depositions, and trials

• Draft pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions, and legal memoranda

• Conduct legal research and provide analysis on various legal issues

• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials

• Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to develop case strategies

• Maintain accurate records and billing documentation

• Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel in a professional manner

Requirements

• Admission to the Wisconsin State Bar (or eligibility to become licensed promptly)

• Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• A genuine interest in litigation and client service

• All levels of experience will be considered, including newly admitted attorneys

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Wisconsin (required or pending)
