Duties

• Represent clients in matters related to family law, including dissolution of marriage, allocation of parental responsibilities, and support-related disputes

• Manage all aspects of client cases from intake through resolution or trial

• Draft pleadings, legal correspondence, settlement agreements, and other necessary documentation

• Conduct legal research and prepare for court hearings and trials

• Appear in court regularly within Boulder County and surrounding jurisdictions

• Collaborate with legal staff, paralegals, and fellow attorneys to ensure effective case strategy and management

• Maintain organized case files and uphold high standards of legal ethics and client confidentiality

• Occasionally assist with cases in other practice areas such as civil litigation, estate matters, or criminal defense, depending on firm needs

Requirements

• Active license to practice law in the State of Colorado

• Experience in family law is preferred, though attorneys with litigation or transferable legal experience may be considered

• Demonstrated courtroom experience and familiarity with relevant procedural rules

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also contributing to a team-oriented culture

• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and a client-focused approach

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Admission to the Colorado State Bar in good standing
