Duties

• Manage consumer and commercial collection matters from inception through resolution.
• Appear in court and attend hearings.
• Review and prepare pleadings.
• Develop case strategy, negotiate, and settle cases.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys and support staff.

Requirements

• J.D. and active admission to practice in Georgia.
• 1-3 years of litigation experience; collection litigation is a plus.
• Familiarity with consumer protection statutes such as the FDCPA is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage a heavy caseload with focus and organization.
• Admission in additional states is a bonus.
• Valid driver's license.
• Accept a drug test.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.)

Certifications

• Active admission to practice law in Georgia.

Skills
