A law firm seeks a lateral attorney with significant management-side labor law experience to join its national Employment and Labor practice. This full-time, hybrid position may be based in Omaha, NE, or other firm locations. The role is ideal for proactive attorneys with a self-sustaining book of business looking to integrate their practice into a full-service corporate law firm.

Duties

• Represent management clients in labor negotiations and disputes.
• Advise management clients on labor-related matters and risks.
• Manage and organize legal matters independently.
• Collaborate in a high-paced, team environment.
• Contribute to the growth and expansion of the practice.

Requirements

• Active bar license in good standing within state of residence.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in labor law, representing management.
• Recent law firm experience with a portable, self-sustaining book of business.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills

• Strong expertise in labor law and client representation.
• Excellent organizational and matter management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Self-motivated with a drive to expand the practice.
