National Phase Patent Specialist

The candidate's duties include: Prepares necessary documents for filing US National Phase (371) applications, including transmittal letter, ADS, IDS, and preliminary amendment templates; Corresponds with clients regarding additional documents needed such as declarations and assignments; Files US National Phase (371) applications and reports same to client; Monitors docket and file for necessary filings including priority documents, declarations, assignments, including maintaining a real time spreadsheet of all 371 filings with a “checklist” of action items, dates of completion, and statuses; Reports documents received from USPTO to the client such as notices of recordation, filing receipts, powers of attorney documents; Drafts, reviews and proofreads all documents and correspondence produced, checks for proper formatting, spelling and grammatical errors, as well as ensures that all signature pages, attachments, exhibits or enclosures are accurate and complete before distribution. Required Experience: 1-2 years of IP admin related experience; Preferred Experience: 1-2 years of experience in preparing and filing US National Phase (371) applications.
