A law firm seeks an experienced and highly motivated associate attorney to join its real estate and creditors' rights practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation, foreclosure, bankruptcy, collections, and default servicing. This role requires exceptional legal research, drafting, and advocacy skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently. Duties

• Advocate for clients in civil litigation and other legal proceedings.
• Conduct in-depth legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts.
• Advise clients on real estate, foreclosure, bankruptcy, collections, and other related matters.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Manage case files efficiently while ensuring compliance with deadlines and regulations.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to develop effective case strategies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation, foreclosure, bankruptcy, collections, or creditors' rights.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while also thriving in a team environment.
• Commitment to providing responsive and strategic client service.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the state of Minnesota.
• Multi-state licensure (Minnesota and/or Wisconsin preferred) is a plus.
• Federal court admission is a plus.

• Expertise in real estate law, foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections.
• Strong legal research and writing capabilities.
