A law firm located in East Windsor, NJ is seeking a Litigation Associate to handle a diverse caseload with a focus on commercial disputes, employment litigation, and personal injury matters. The position involves direct involvement in trial preparation, court appearances, and client engagement. Duties:

• Draft and revise litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials

• Conduct comprehensive legal research and case law analysis using tools such as Westlaw

• Represent clients at depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings

• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and legal arguments

• Manage all aspects of case preparation, including file organization and evidence review

• Maintain proactive and consistent communication with clients throughout case progression

• Monitor legal developments and procedural changes affecting relevant practice areas

Requirements:

• Litigation experience, preferably in commercial, employment, or personal injury matters

• Demonstrated ability to handle matters from inception through resolution

• Strong understanding of litigation procedures and rules of civil practice

• Experience using legal research platforms such as Westlaw

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the New Jersey Bar (active and in good standing)

• Additional Bar admissions (e.g., NY or PA) are a plus.

Skills:

• Exceptional legal writing and persuasive drafting abilities

• Advanced analytical and case evaluation skills

• Confident oral advocacy and courtroom presence

• Highly organized with the ability to manage competing deadlines

• Strong interpersonal communication, both verbal and written

• Technological proficiency with litigation support tools
