A law firm seeks an experienced Litigation Partnership Track Attorney in Houston. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in fiduciary litigation and complex probate and trust matters, representing individuals and financial institutions, often involving high net-worth clients.

Duties

• Develop and execute sophisticated litigation strategies.
• Settle multi-issue disputes effectively.
• Draft technically competent and persuasive legal documents.
• Interface successfully with clients and manage their expectations.
• Defend and take depositions.
• Manage a docket of cases and build a personal practice.

Requirements

• Current Texas law license.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in probate litigation.
• Strong legal research and advocacy skills.
• Solid understanding of Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and Evidence.
• Excellent academic credentials and strong writing skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
