Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and support on renewable energy transactions.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on various renewable energy projects and regulatory matters.
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and memoranda.
• Assist in due diligence processes for renewable energy projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of legal practice, preferably with significant transactional experience.
• Experience in renewable energy law is highly preferred.
• Background or expertise in Engineering, Construction, Finance, or Tax law is advantageous.
• Superior internal and external communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, legal writing, and grammar skills.
• Strong academic credentials from an accredited, top-tier law school.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications (Preferred):

• Admission to the State Bar in North Carolina or eligibility for reciprocity.
