The candidate will negotiate and draft film/television/new media agreements covering all facets of development, production and distribution including option/purchase agreements, co-production and production services agreements, talent agreements (writer, director, and actor), license agreements and other production-related agreements. A JD and member of the California or New York State Bar (active and in good standing). Should have 3+ years of experience in-house with a studio or production company or with a major law firm/established entertainment boutique law firm. Entertainment transactional experience is required. Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills. Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills and computer literacy. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Strong work ethic. Able to handle multiple, high-priority tasks in a fast-paced environment. Precise attention to detail. Responsive and a problem-solver.
