Job Overview

A law firm seeks a skilled and highly qualified litigation associate with two to five years of general litigation experience to join its business litigation practice in San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate will have a high level of academic achievement from a highly ranked law school, strong legal writing skills, and related experience. Previous experience as a judicial clerk is strongly preferred but not required.

Duties

• Participate actively in case strategy, depositions, and motion practice.
• Engage in client counseling and trial work.
• Examine witnesses and argue pre-trial motions in federal and state trials.

Requirements

• Two to five years of general litigation experience.
• Strong legal writing skills and related experience.
• Judicial clerkship experience preferred but not required.

Education

• Juris Doctor from a highly ranked law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in California.
