Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm is seeking an experienced Healthcare Regulatory Attorney to offer specialized legal counsel to clients in the healthcare industry. The attorney will focus on ensuring compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations for a wide array of healthcare providers, specialty practices, and vendors. This role is based in Wilmington, DE.
Duties:
- Provide comprehensive legal guidance on healthcare regulations.
- Advise healthcare providers and specialty practices on compliance with federal and state laws such as HIPAA, Stark Law, and the Anti-Kickback Statute.
- Handle healthcare-related transactions, compliance audits, and investigations.
- Collaborate with other attorneys on multidisciplinary legal matters.
- Represent clients before regulatory bodies, including HHS, CMS, and state healthcare agencies.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 8+ years of experience in healthcare regulatory law.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state healthcare laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in providing legal counsel to healthcare providers and specialty practices.
- Familiarity with handling healthcare compliance audits, investigations, and healthcare transactions.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Admission to DE Bar.
Skills:
