A reputable law firm based in Los Angeles, CA, is actively seeking a seasoned Litigation Attorney with a strong background in insurance defense. This remote opportunity is ideal for legal professionals who thrive in a fast-paced setting and possess experience in areas such as bodily injury claims, construction-related disputes, employment matters, or similar insurance-based litigation.

Duties:

• Handle court appearances, motion drafting, and legal hearings independently

• Conduct and defend depositions with minimal oversight

• Prepare and argue motions and conduct oral arguments when necessary

• Negotiate settlements in complex matters

• Deliver timely updates and detailed reports to clients

• Maintain proactive case management and litigation strategy development

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in California

• Prior experience managing cases from inception through resolution

• 3 to 12 years of litigation experience, ideally in insurance defense

• Proficiency in at least one of the following practice areas:

  • Bodily injury litigation

  • Construction defect claims

  • Employment-related litigation

  • Other insurance-related disputes

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the California State Bar (Required)

• Additional State Bar admissions are considered a plus

Skills:

• Strong legal writing and research capabilities

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting

• Confident oral advocacy skills

• Exceptional organizational and case management abilities

• Effective communication with clients and opposing counsel
