Duties

• Manage a full caseload of litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft persuasive briefs.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials and mediations.
• Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Collaborate with partners on trial preparation and legal strategy.
• Participate in arbitration and settlement negotiations.
• Review case materials and prepare evaluations and reports.
• Ensure timely case progression and compliance with deadlines.
• Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and support staff.
• Manage and cultivate client relationships.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active Illinois Bar license in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience.
• Strong background in personal injury and civil litigation.
• Demonstrated courtroom and trial experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and work ethic.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Illinois Bar license in good standing.
