Job Overview

A law firm seeks a qualified associate attorney to support its New Hampshire default servicing practice. This position is based in New Hampshire and offers a competitive benefits package. The firm is a multi-state real estate and creditors' rights law firm.

Duties

• Handle a significant volume of cases within the field of creditor's rights.
• Resolve issues in discovery practice, depositions, and conflict resolution.
• Make court appearances and attend necessary travel.
• Assist in growing the firm's presence as a top-performing firm.

Requirements

• Member in good standing of the New Hampshire Bar (Massachusetts membership a plus).
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in the default space.
• Familiarity with New Hampshire law (Massachusetts experience a plus).
• Appellate experience and knowledge of TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and the Bankruptcy Code preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the New Hampshire Bar required, with Massachusetts a plus.
• Additional Bar licenses are a plus.
