Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Capital Markets Resource Attorney in Los Angeles, CA. This role focuses on enhancing marketing and business development efforts, strengthening the creation and sharing of substantive know-how, and enabling practicing attorneys to be more informed, efficient, and successful.

Duties

• Stay current on legal and regulatory developments relevant to the Capital Markets practice group.
• Develop topics for and assist in the preparation of client alerts and white papers.
• Maintain internal practice resources to enhance know-how exchange within the practice group.
• Create and update archives of work product and know-how.
• Coordinate speaking arrangements, webinars, and materials.
• Maintain and update forms and templates to reflect current legal developments.
• Collaborate with Marketing to enhance Capital Markets branding and presence.
• Provide information to Marketing for RFPs and business development opportunities.
• Coordinate with Professional Development for skills enhancement and training.
• Work with Information Services to assess and adopt new technologies.

Requirements

• Licensed attorney with a minimum of 5 years of experience in capital markets transactions.
• Strong understanding of corporate governance and SEC reporting requirements.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
