Duties:

• Represent clients in insurance defense and litigation matters.

• Draft, review, and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.

• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trial proceedings.

• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide client counsel.

• Manage caseloads efficiently while meeting deadlines and expectations.

• Conduct legal research to support case development and strategies.

• Advise clients on legal risks, settlement options, and case progress.

Requirements:

• 0-5 years of litigation experience.

• Strong research, writing, and communication skills.

• Ability to handle a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

• Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple cases at once.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Minnesota.

Skills:

• Expertise in legal research and writing.

• Strong litigation and courtroom skills.

• Knowledge in insurance defense, medical malpractice, employment defense, and automobile defense litigation is a plus.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.

• Strong negotiation and client communication skills.
