A law firm seeks an experienced attorney in Colorado Springs, CO, to manage personal injury cases. The ideal candidate will collaborate with senior partners and administrative staff to provide exceptional client service.

Duties

• Manage a docket of personal injury cases from intake through resolution.
• Prepare demands, motions, discovery requests/responses, and other legal documents.
• Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Develop a case strategy and advise clients accordingly.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance carriers.
• Supervise support staff as necessary (e.g., paralegals, case managers).
• Maintain accurate and timely case records using legal case management software.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Colorado and in good standing.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in personal injury.
• Demonstrated trial and courtroom experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment with little supervision.
• Client-focused, ethical, and driven to achieve justice.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in Colorado.
