The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of laws affecting school districts, municipalities, and other public entities, along with practical experience in representing public clients.

Duties

• Represent public clients in legal matters.
• Advise on Missouri Sunshine Law and employment law issues.
• Review contracts and policies for governmental bodies.
• Attend meetings of governmental bodies.
• Interact with client representatives.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice in Missouri or Illinois (both preferred).
• Minimum of two years of experience in education and/or municipal law.
• Strong knowledge of laws affecting public entities.
• Excellent academic qualifications and communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed attorney in Missouri or Illinois.

Skills

• Strong understanding of Missouri Sunshine Law.
