A law firm seeks a Junior Intellectual Property Associate in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an early-career attorney to gain hands-on experience advising clients on a wide range of intellectual property and commercial matters.

Duties

• Provide day-to-day IP counseling on trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and related non-patent assets.
• Assist with acquisition, protection, and portfolio management of non-patent IP rights.
• Support licensing, commercialization, and strategic technology transactions.
• Conduct product design and development risk assessments.
• Collaborate with litigation teams as a subject matter resource in IP and technology-related disputes.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• 1-3 years of relevant IP experience preferred.
• Strong academic credentials and legal writing skills.
• USPTO bar membership preferred.
• Experience with technology transactions or IP portfolio management is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.)
