Duties:

• Represent clients through all stages of litigation, including initiation, discovery, trial, and appeals.
• Attend court appearances, hearings, depositions, and case management conferences.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and investigations related to discovery.
• Draft, review, and manage various legal documents including discovery requests, motions, case evaluations, pleadings, settlement agreements, affidavits, and legal memoranda.
• Analyze and summarize discovery responses, depositions, and litigation updates.
• Engage in negotiations with opposing counsel to resolve claims.
• Provide legal analysis and status updates to clients throughout the litigation process.
• Work autonomously with minimal supervision, while ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution.
• Active Georgia Bar License (or must be obtained by the end of the year).
• Strong litigation experience and skills, with 0-3 years of practice preferred.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to foster and maintain professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
• Staff attorney or judicial clerkship experience is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Georgia Bar License (Required).
