A law firm seeks an experienced attorney to join its Environmental Law practice group as a full-time partnership-track associate in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in environmental law, including compliance counseling, enforcement defense, litigation, permitting, and agency rulemaking.

Duties

• Provide legal counsel on environmental compliance and regulatory matters.
• Defend clients in environmental enforcement actions.
• Engage in litigation and negotiation related to environmental issues.
• Assist in obtaining necessary environmental permits and authorizations.
• Participate in agency rulemaking processes.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of experience in environmental law.
• Experience in private practice, trade associations, or government agencies preferred.
• California bar membership required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the California State Bar.
