Job Title: Junior To Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview:

A law firm in Austin, TX is seeking a Junior To Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney with 2-6 years of litigation experience to join its growing Litigation Team. This position provides an excellent opportunity for a junior to mid-level associate to gain firsthand experience in all stages of litigation in state and federal courts, with a focus on complex commercial litigation, real estate disputes, construction litigation, and class-action matters.

Duties:

• Assist in handling complex commercial litigation cases
• Work on real estate disputes, construction litigation, and class-action matters
• Participate in every stage of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
• Conduct legal research, draft memoranda, pleadings, and other legal documents
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and provide support for trials and hearings
• Engage in strategy development for multi-party, complex cases involving extensive discovery and nuanced issues
• Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

• 2-6 years of litigation experience
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal matters
• Prior experience with multi-party litigation, discovery, and trial preparation is preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced legal environment and manage multiple cases simultaneously
• Admission to the Texas Bar (or eligibility for swift admission)

Education:

• Graduate from a top law school

Certifications:

• Admitted to practice law in Texas, or ability to become admitted quickly
