Job Overview

A law firm seeks a trial attorney in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will have significant trial experience and technical knowledge in preparing for and conducting trials. The position offers flexibility with partially remote work and consideration for fully remote arrangements based on the candidate's location.

Duties

• Prepare cases for trial and arbitration, leading or assisting trial teams.
• Lead complex litigation, including discovery and motion practice.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Participate in all aspects of pre-trial discovery.
• Draft and respond to motions and draft briefs.
• Present case strategy at trials in complex class action litigation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of meaningful trial and deposition experience.
• Strong academic credentials with robust analytical, research, writing, and organizational skills.
• Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, preferably Washington D.C., California, Minnesota, New York, Pennsylvania, or Illinois.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed attorney in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
