A law firm in New York City is seeking a Mid-level Structured Finance Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of experience in structured finance, securitization, and CLOs. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a larger team, possess transferable skills from big law firm experience, and have a strong academic background from a nationally recognized school. The candidate must hold a JD degree and be licensed to practice in New York.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis related to structured finance transactions, securitization, and collateralized loan obligations (CLOs).
• Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements pertinent to structured finance deals.
• Collaborate with clients, partners, and legal professionals to facilitate structured finance transactions.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on matters about structured finance law and regulations.
• Assist in due diligence processes and document review for structured finance transactions.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of experience in structured finance, securitization, and CLOs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team.
• Previous experience in a big law firm environment.
• Strong academic background from a nationally recognized school.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in the state of New York.

Education:

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
