Duties

• Represent clients in insurance and bad faith litigation matters

• Handle breach of contract claims and insurance disputes from inception through resolution

• Draft pleadings, motions, and trial briefs

• Conduct legal research, discovery, and depositions

• Develop litigation strategy and provide liability analyses

• Participate in settlement negotiations, mediations, and court appearances

• Manage cases in both state and federal courts

• Collaborate with colleagues and clients on case planning and execution

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience

• At least 2 years of experience specifically handling insurance coverage and/or bad faith litigation

• Demonstrated ability to manage all phases of litigation, including trial preparation

• Familiarity with complex insurance disputes and bad faith claims

• Strong understanding of both California state and federal court procedures

• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously

• Proactive approach to case management and client service

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials

Certifications

• Active California Bar license in good standing (required)
