Job Overview

A law firm seeks a 2nd or 3rd Year Labor & Employment Associate in Milwaukee, WI. The successful candidate will engage in a variety of employment-related legal matters, providing expert guidance and representation to clients.

Duties

• Handle federal and state employment-related litigation before administrative agencies.
• Provide day-to-day counseling on compliance with state and federal fair employment laws.
• Offer restrictive covenant counseling and litigation support.
• Support employment matters related to corporate business transactions.
• Draft employment-related contracts, including Confidentiality and Employment Agreements.
• Guide and represent clients in labor law compliance and litigation.
• Advise on Occupational Safety & Health Act compliance and litigation.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to deliver high-quality service.
• Contribute to the growth of the labor & employment practice.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice or eligible for admission in Wisconsin.
• Interest in a collaborative, intellectually stimulating environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.)

Certifications

• Admission to the State Bar of Wisconsin
