A law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation and Product Liability Attorney for its Short Hills, NJ, location. The ideal candidate will join a dynamic team to handle a diverse caseload, requiring proficiency in various legal tasks and excellent communication skills.

Job Overview:

• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Collaborate with partners and team members to develop case strategies and trial preparation, managing discovery processes, document review, production, and deposition preparation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
• Produce deliverables efficiently, answer phone calls, and respond to correspondence promptly.
• Provide timely, accurate, high-quality work products, meeting deadlines and expectations.
• Foster positive work relationships, comply with firm policies, and engage in physical and sedentary activities as needed.
• Perform all assigned duties, tasks, or projects diligently.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and draft various legal documents.

• Communicate with clients, lawyers, and third parties verbally and in writing.
• Produce deliverables efficiently and respond to correspondence promptly.

• Perform all assigned duties diligently.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New Jersey State Bar with 4-5 years of litigation experience.
• Strong background in commercial litigation and product liability matters.
• Excellent research skills and superior writing abilities with attention to detail.
• Previous state court or federal clerkship experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication with clients and colleagues.

Education & Certifications:
