Duties
Manage a caseload of first-party property and insurance coverage litigation matters.
Handle litigation in both state and federal courts, including drafting pleadings, discovery, and motions.
Take and defend depositions, and represent clients in court appearances and trials.
Advise clients on insurance coverage matters and bad faith claims.
Collaborate with internal teams on case strategy, legal research, and documentation.
Provide leadership and mentorship to junior associates, guiding them in their professional development.
Requirements
Admitted and in good standing with the Delaware Bar.
Experience in first-party property, bad faith, and insurance coverage litigation.
Strong academic credentials and a proven track record of excellent legal research and writing.
Practical experience managing cases in both state and federal courts.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications
Active state bar membership in Delaware.
Additional Bar admissions in other states are a plus.
Skills
Strong legal research and analytical skills.
Proficiency in drafting legal documents, including pleadings, discovery, and motions.
Trial preparation and courtroom experience.
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
Excellent client management and communication skills.
