A law firm seeks a mid-level associate with 3-7 years of experience to join its Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate practice group. This position is based in Pittsburgh, PA. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in handling mergers and acquisitions, asset and stock deals, and related corporate matters.

Duties

• Handle mergers and acquisitions and strategic transactions.
• Draft and negotiate transaction documentation and ancillary agreements.
• Conduct due diligence and negotiate definitive agreements.
• Support general corporate and commercial matters.
• Manage transactions and client matters with significant responsibility.

Requirements

• 3-7 years of experience in M&A, corporate, or commercial work at a law firm.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a high-volume practice.
• Excellent academic credentials and communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
