Job Description:
Reporting to the Head of Policy & Training within the T&S Compliance organization, the Advisor Policy is responsible for assisting with the development of documentation relating to the T&S Compliance Framework, which includes, but not limited to policies, processes, procedures, risk matrices, guidelines and manuals including Financial Crime, T&S Group policies and T&S Compliance Manual.
Advisor Policy will be expected to:
Develop a global inventory of existing T&S Compliance polices, guidelines and procedures.
Reviewing aspects of the T&S Compliance Framework periodically to ensure that they conform with all aspects of applicable laws, regulations and compliance requirements (taking input from Financial Crime, Regulation and Code of Conduct SMEs as required);
Collaborate with the Senior Advisor Policy and appropriate SMEs on updating existing and drafting new policies, as necessary.
Collaborate with other Compliance teams to coordinate business impact assessments, training and internal communications relating to any changes in the T&S Compliance Framework as required;
Support Head of Policy & Training in analysing Management Information (MI) relating to the T&S Compliance Framework for reporting at the T&S Governance, Risk, Compliance & Assurance (GRCA) Committees;
Partner as a Policy SME with other part of Compliance and other Functions, including the Global Ethics and Compliance teams.

Problem solving: Navigates through complex problems and manage a delivery and execution of a plan by gathering relevant information, identifying the critical issues and communicating results.
Stakeholder relationships: Builds relationships with stakeholders at different levels in the organization.
Issue management: Identifies, tracks and manages issues and works with stakeholders to resolve problems and continuously improve processes and controls.

Requirements:
Some experience in developing documentation relating to a Compliance Framework, such as policies, processes, procedures, risk matrices, guidelines and manuals.
Robust written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
Knowledge of the global Energy markets (Gas, Power, Carbon and Oil) and markets is desirable.
Understanding of global financial regulations, compliance requirements and the Shell Code of Conduct is desirable.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and partner with business stakeholders, other compliance team members and other functions.
