A law firm seeks an experienced Employment Law Attorney in Baltimore. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience advising clients on management-side employment issues. While labor law experience is beneficial, it is not mandatory. Litigation experience is highly valued. This senior role involves independent work within a collaborative team, addressing both immediate client inquiries and long-term projects.

Duties

• Respond to claims filed with federal, state, and local agencies and courts.
• Advise clients on EEO issues, wage and hour laws, and leave law compliance.
• Conduct workplace investigations and training sessions.
• Draft position statements, court filings, and other legal documents.
• Provide strategic legal advice to clients.

Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in employment law.
• Litigation experience is a significant advantage.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Licensed or eligible to be licensed in Maryland.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in Maryland or eligibility for admission.
