Responsibilities: Drafts, reviews and provides recommendations and advice regarding contracts and contracting relationships. Provides contract management and oversees contract compliance. Responds to claims against the Company, including lawsuits, either by handling directly, by returning to insurance carrier, or by referring to outside counsel. Asserts claims on behalf of the Company, either directly or through outside counsel. Confers regularly with store support center departments regarding compliance with current laws and/or regulations; offers counsel involving contract matters and contract compliance; analyzes and drafts legal documents. Performs other related duties, as assigned.
