Job Overview

A law firm seeks a full-time, partnership-track mid-level associate in Dallas, TX, to join its thriving real estate practice. Candidates should have three to six years of sophisticated commercial real estate experience, including representing borrowers and/or lenders in financing transactions.

Duties

• Negotiate, document, and close mortgage, mezzanine, and other secured lending transactions.
• Manage complex transactions and coordinate closings.
• Draft and negotiate principal transaction documents.

Requirements

• Three to six years of commercial real estate experience.
• Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, joint venture structures, and equity transactions preferred.
• Strong academic record and exceptional analytical, organizational, and writing skills.
• Collaborative approach to the practice of law.
• Texas bar membership preferred; required within one year of joining.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar membership in Texas preferred.
