Compliance FMV/Analyst Officer - Compliance

The candidate will manage compliance activities under the direction of the System s Chief Compliance Officer or her designee. A critical component of this role includes activities related to the Compliance Department s physician compensation Fair Market Value (FMV) Program. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: gathering, reviewing, analyzing and interpreting market data and physician salary surveys; conducting comprehensive assessments of total compensation and physician compensation models; and reviewing physician compensation FMV policies in accordance with regulatory requirements. In addition, this role includes the following responsibilities: achieve compliance objectives in the areas of compliance education and training, auditing and monitoring, internal investigations, corrective action, and policy and procedures. Must have the following qualifications: Bachelor s degree in a business-related field, ideally with an emphasis in mathematics, finance, accounting or health care administration. Master s degree and/or J.D. preferred. Minimum 3-5 years of physician FMV analytical experience and health care related experience. Experience working with physician compensation models, salary surveys and market data. Experience managing health care compliance requirements of government and regulatory agencies. Effective project management skills including proven ability to: Manage large volumes of written materials and electronic data. Produce high quality written documentation and data analysis (e.g. Excel spreadsheets and reports). Manage complex processes with precision and efficiency. Make effective formal written and oral presentations. Conduct rigorous investigation and analysis of complex health care, regulatory, financial and clinical issues and communicate findings and recommendations.
