Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm located in Concord, NH, is currently seeking an experienced Trust and Estate Attorney to join their team. This role is ideal for candidates with 6-9 years of experience in estate planning, gift, estate, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning, as well as trust and estate administration. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with high-net-worth individuals and families, providing tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies and guidance.

Duties:

• Advise clients on estate planning, trust and estate administration, and wealth transfer strategies
• Provide expertise in gift and estate tax, as well as generation-skipping transfer tax planning
• Collaborate with clients and their advisors to develop personalized, tax-efficient solutions for high-net-worth families
• Assist with business succession planning and estate management
• Prepare legal documents related to estate planning and tax filings
• Represent clients in matters involving the administration and distribution of estates and trusts

Requirements:

• 6-9 years of relevant experience in Trust and Estate law
• Proven ability to handle complex estate planning and tax matters
• Strong academic background and excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and families
• Ability to manage multiple client cases simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in the state of New Hampshire (or ability to obtain)

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of estate planning, tax laws, and trust administration
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
