A law firm seeks a Foreclosure Attorney in St. Louis, MO. The role involves managing a caseload of foreclosure, title, and litigation matters for banks, investors, mortgage servicers, and other creditors.

Duties

• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff on foreclosure procedures and local filing requirements.
• Handle complex title resolution matters, including title claims and quiet title actions.
• Review and analyze client and loan documents, title searches, and pleadings.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Attend hearings and settlement conferences as required.
• Communicate case statuses to clients via email and phone.
• Respond promptly to communications from various stakeholders.
• Escalate matters when necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience representing secured creditors/mortgage services preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage priorities in a high-volume environment.
• Effective communication with legal and non-legal stakeholders.
• Self-starter attitude.

Education

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed and in good standing in Missouri; Kansas preferred; additional states a plus.

Skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with BKFS LoanSphere Default, Sagent Tempo preferred.
• Experience handling replevins is a plus.
• SharePoint experience is a plus.
