Duties

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Manage all aspects of pre-trial litigation, including depositions and court appearances.
• Develop and implement case strategies.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with deadlines.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Rhode Island (Massachusetts license a plus).
• 5+ years of litigation experience preferred; exceptional candidates with less experience considered.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
