Job Title: Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A respected law firm located in Savannah, GA is expanding its general liability and insurance defense litigation team. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated attorney with a strong litigation background and a desire to grow within a collaborative and well-resourced legal environment. The firm provides flexibility in scheduling and potential remote work options based on experience.

Duties:

• Handle a portfolio of general liability cases, including:

  • Motor vehicle accidents

  • Premises liability matters

  • Insurance coverage disputes

  • Allegations of bad faith

• Develop and implement litigation strategies across all stages of a case

• Draft pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and related legal documents

• Conduct depositions, mediations, and court appearances as needed

• Engage in trial preparation and courtroom advocacy

• Collaborate with over 20 litigation professionals within the practice group to exchange ideas and support complex casework

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in the state of Georgia

• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience in insurance defense or a similar field

• Admission in both Georgia and South Carolina is preferred

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar of Georgia (required)

• Admission to the South Carolina Bar (preferred)

Skills:

• Strong legal writing and oral advocacy capabilities

• Proficiency in managing case timelines and multiple priorities

• Ability to work independently while being a contributing team member

• Familiarity with litigation software and case management tools

• Commitment to professional development and client service
