Duties

• Review and analyze legal matters to provide competent representation.
• Draft and process necessary legal documents.
• Conduct legal research using approved resources.
• Communicate regularly with partners, attorneys, and clients.
• Supervise work of legal assistants and paralegals.
• Record and monitor deadlines for client matters and court dockets.
• Conduct negotiations, depositions, and mediations.
• Litigate cases in court, either in-person or electronically.
• Participate in professional and trade organizations.

Requirements

• Ability to exercise independent judgment in legal matters.
• Experience in a similar role, preferably in private practice.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Education

• Juris Doctorate degree.

Certifications

• Valid license to practice law in Indiana.

Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
