Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Attorney specializing in Foreclosure to join their team in Tallahassee, FL. This full-time, fully remote position involves working with a dynamic team to manage and resolve complex legal matters related to foreclosure.

Duties

• Draft and review legal documents for second-level review by the Supervising Attorney.
• Organize case files, track legal deadlines, and coordinate with paralegals and legal assistants on case logistics.
• Shadow a senior or supervising attorney for appearances in mediation, court, and sheriff's sales.
• Assist in preparation for legal appearances.
• Collaborate with members of the state team.
• Actively participate in weekly state meetings.
• Engage with the Supervising Attorney in weekly one-on-one meetings.

Requirements

• J.D., licensed and in good standing in all jurisdictions.
• Ability to work with others in a congenial and team-oriented manner.
• Exceptional organizational skills and adaptability to continual change.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in all relevant jurisdictions.
