A highly regarded plaintiff-side law firm is seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join its Milwaukee office. This is a full-time hybrid role offering the opportunity to manage a diverse caseload including personal injury, civil rights, medical malpractice, and employment discrimination matters. Location

• Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Duties

• Manage a full caseload of plaintiff-side litigation matters, including personal injury and civil rights cases

• Handle all aspects of litigation, from pre-suit investigation through trial

• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, discovery, and motions

• Represent clients in court proceedings including jury trials, hearings, and mediations

• Maintain regular communication with clients, opposing counsel, and the court

• Collaborate with team members to develop case strategy and trial preparation

• Participate in firm mentorship and training with the goal of developing into a top trial attorney

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience in personal injury claims (defense or plaintiff)

• Demonstrated ability to independently manage litigation files and client relationships

• Trial experience preferred or a strong desire to gain courtroom experience

• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to client service

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active and in good standing with the State Bar of Wisconsin (required)

Skills

• Strong legal research and writing skills

• Confident oral advocacy and negotiation abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal practice management software

• Ability to understand and analyze complex data

• Experience working with AI tools for legal research and drafting (preferred)

• Team-oriented with a collaborative and professional demeanor
